The Iranian Diaspora Network (IDN) is a not-for-profit, non-partisan organization formed to bring
together the Iranian communities in the diaspora and bridge these communities to their host societies
worldwide.
The mass migration of Iranians is only a few decades old. However, contributions of the Iranian diaspora
to the social, political, and cultural aspects of the host societies have been eye-catching. The mandate of
the IDN is to create an encouraging atmosphere for the Iranian communities to grow together through
the exchange of experiences and ideas. It is also the mandate of the IDN to lead conversations with
policymakers, thinkers, and mainstream media to reflect the social, political, and cultural realities of
today’s Iran. We believe working together would enhance our contributions to the host societies as well
as our motherland.
The IDN achieves its objectives through activities such as lectures, discussion panels, cultural events, and
advocacy, among others.
